Chanelly Diaz is a Science Business major with a minor in Public Policy within the College of Science. She is both an AnBryce and a Questbridge Scholar. Chanelly is passionate about healthcare innovation and intellectual property rights. Chanelly's academic journey centers on the nexus of science, business, and public policy. Her goal is to impact society's access to innovative healthcare solutions, particularly by advocating for intellectual property rights within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. She envisions ensuring life-saving treatments reach those in need. Looking ahead, Chanelly is considering a dual degreeā€”a Juris Doctor (JD) and a Master in Public Health (MPH). This will empower her to champion healthcare innovation and protect intellectual property rights effectively.

Beyond academics, Chanelly actively contributes to campus life as the Vice President of her dormitory. In this role, she not only enriches the dormitory community but also enhances her leadership and communication abilities, emphasizing inclusiveness and collaboration. She also enjoys collaborating with local institutions such as Sister Maura Branick Clinic and Robinson Community Learning Center to advocate for those in need and build relationships within the South Bend Community. Her overall goal is to make this world a better place for those in need, and Notre Dame is the first stepping stone to accomplish this dream!
