Chanelly Diaz

Hometown:
Bronx, NY

High School:
Cristo Rey High School

Chanelly Diaz is a Science Business major with a minor in Public Policy within the College of Science. She is both an AnBryce and a Questbridge Scholar. She is interested in the interconnection between public health policies and how they play a role in the safety & wellness of underserved populations. Chanelly aspires to get a dual degree, both her Masters in Public Health and her MD in order to serve as a physician while also playing a political role in the healthcare industry.

Beyond her interests in the healthcare sector, she is also very passionate about her community and how to enhance the overall being of those who are marginalized in society. Chanelly will now be on the Howard Executive Board as Inclusivity Chair in order to promote diversity and inclusivity in her dorm during her sophomore year. She hopes to take his passion and find other clubs on campus that will help her ignite change both within the Notre Dame community and within the South Bend community!
