Edson Augustin

Edson is a Computer Science major with a minor in Real Estate from Lake Worth, FL. He is the Secretary of the National Society of Black Engineers at Notre Dame. He is also looking to pursue a minor in Engineering Corporate Practice.

In Spring 2021, Edson held the position of Student Research Assistant with the Pulte Institute for Global Development. This research focused on the Social and Emotional Learning process in Haiti. Despite this not having to do with Edson's major, he was still drawn to the topic since he was born in Haiti.

During the summer of 2022, he attended a Summer Engineering Study Abroad Program in London that piqued his interest in business and the ethical issues that lie in Engineering. He also took part in the Pariveda Career Accelerator Summer 2022 program in which he learned how to properly grow his skills, expand his network, and market his personal brand. Edson’s goal is to use his knowledge of technology, real estate, and business to invest back in his community.

For the Fall of 2022, Edson will be working at OIT as a Help Desk Student Consultant.
