Personal and Professional Development Series

The AnBryce Scholars Program curates partnerships across campus and across career tracks to ensure scholars have information they need and pathways to build networks in and out of college. Yearly, scholars have small group sessions with the following departments on campus:

Financial Aid

Study Abroad

Meruelo Family Center for Career Development :

Flatley Center for Undergraduate Scholarly Engagement (CUSE)

Center for Social Concerns (CSC)

McDonald Center for Student Well-Being (McWell)

In these sessions scholars learn more about opportunities, but also have a chance to engage with a particular ally on their journey. Partners have led additional enrichment sessions on personal statements, post-graduate preparation, academic wellness, resumes/cover letters/LinkedIn, and many other topics. Most of these topic ideas come directly from scholars.

Scholars also have a chance to prepare for life after college (or on summer internships) with sessions on:

Negotiation

Rent Contracts

Tax Preparation

Borrowing Money

Meal Prep
