Originally from Visalia, California, Armando is majoring in Political Science, with minors in Business Economics, Constitutional Studies and Latino Studies. He studied abroad in London, England and was a Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholar. Currenttly, he is a manager with the ND Listens, a program through Notre Dame's University Relations. He also interns with the Monterrosa Law Group in South Bend. In 2017, he was a camp counselor at the AnBryce Foundation's Camp Dogwood in Madison, Virginia. He won the Brad Chotiner Spirit Award as counselor of the year. Prior to his senior year, he was in Chicago working for the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund. 

After graduation he will be working in Indianapolis.
