Ashly Turcios-Sierra

Ashly Turcios-Sierra is a Business Analytics Major in the Mendoza College of Business. She is an AnBryce Scholar and a QuestBridge Scholar.

Growing up in a small tourist town, Ashly was constantly surrounded by the opportunities that the business world offered. After attending Tennessee Governor's School of Business, Technology, and Innovation, she learned more about what goes on behind the scenes. At Notre Dame, she plans on exploring more of that world in order to make the most of it.

Throughout high school, Ashly was heavily involved in helping out her peers and community. She was a student representative of the mental health and healthy team. As a representative, she created videos in order to bring awareness to certain issues as well as organized fundraisers to make resources more accessible to the student body. Ashly was also an advocate and student leader for RHiTA, which offered minorities and low income students at her school the opportunities to seek assistance with establishing a plan for after high school.

During her time at Notre Dame, Ashly plans to grow in her faith and service. She would like to be a part of campus ministry. Ashly is also looking forward to getting the opportunity to study abroad. Traveling to and learning about new countries and cultures has always been a big interest of hers. She intends on joining clubs, as well, and looks forwards to gaining experience in different fields to make her grow as an individual.
