Eva Romero is pursuing an Economics Major within the College of Arts and Letters and hopes to apply for the Concentration in Financial Economics and Econometrics as well. She is an AnBryce Scholar, a QuestBridge Match Scholarship recipient and a member of the Chicago Scholars program.

During high school she was involved in various activities such as being a member of her school’s varsity dance team, Spanish Honors Society, co-president of a Latin Dance club, and much more. Dance has played a huge role in her life as she began dancing at the age of 4 in various dance styles including Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Mexican Folklorico, Hip-Hop, and more. She hopes to continue her love for dance by possibly joining the Notre Dame Dance Company and auditioning for the Notre Dame Pom Squad. She’s also had experience within the dance industry by working as a secretary and head administrator at two Chicago dance studios.

In addition to her artistic endeavors, she plans to engage in clubs representing her academic and cultural interests. This includes joining the Latinx Student Alliance to create a sense of community amongst her peers with similar cultural backgrounds, and the Women in Economics Club to further her understanding of economic and business issues and obtain guidance for future career pathways.
