Isabella Espinosa is a Biology major in the College of Science and would like to minor in Compassionate Care in Medicine. She is an AnBryce Scholar and Questbridge Scholar. Isabella would like to be on a pre-med track and ultimately become a medical doctor in a field that she is passionate about. Growing up in a Hispanic family, she has understood the struggles of language barriers in healthcare. She would like to major in Spanish and study abroad to strengthen her Spanish and help eliminate those barriers.

While attending Bowling Green High School, Isabella was a member of the varsity swim team where she found swimming as a way to have time to herself and focus on self-care. She looks forward to taking a swim after classes or with the club team. She was also the pianist for the school Jazz Band and Pit Orchestra and in her senior year of high school, she became the president of the Spanish club.

Isabella is grateful to have the opportunity to attend Notre Dame and be a part of the AnBryce Scholars Initiative. She hopes to grow as a citizen and use her talents to give back to the community.
