Kacper Szyller was born and raised in West Milford, New Jersey.

He attended the Diana C. Lobosco STEM Academy with a concentration in Engineering where he won the Engineering section’s annual STEM Exposition in 2023, and was also chosen as February student of the month in 2023. He was also his NJROTC program’s Physical Training Commander and 4-Year Honor Cadet (Cadet with the highest overall GPA). He participated in sports including Soccer, Wrestling, Volleyball, and Lacrosse.

Kacper attained an internship at Telemetrics Camera Control Systems LLC. where he worked as an Assistant Mechanical Engineer. He also participated in West Point’s Summer Leaders Experience and attended American Legion Jersey Boys State where he became the State Party’s Sergeant-At-Arms. He completed Johns Hopkins Engineering Innovation Summer Program and attended Carnegie Mellon’s Summer Academy for Math & Science where he created a casino game a presented with a partner at a Symposium.

Kacper is an AnBryce Scholar, a QuestBridge Match Scholarship recipient and a member of the Galvin Scholars program. He is currently majoring in Mechanical Engineering and plans to take part in Notre Dame’s MBA/Engineering Dual-Degree Program where he will attain a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Business Administration. He also plans to Minor in Real Estate and Engineering Corporate Practice and wants to join Notre Dame’s Mens Boxing Club, Wall Street Club, as well as Student Government.
