Lesli is majoring in Civil Engineering and Art History through the five-year Reilly Dual Degree program. She is involved in the Latino First Year retreat organized by Campus Ministry and has performed with Ballet Folklorico at cultural showcases for the past three years. Lesli has served as the secretary of 1stGND which aims to provide a community and resources for first-generation students at Notre Dame. Lesli has also been involved in Show Some Skin, which showcases anonymous monologues from Notre Dame students, as both a performer and an acting coach. She has also starred in online readings of plays focused on the Latin-American experience. She has been accepted to study abroad programs in Spain and Chile and is planning on studying abroad before graduation. Lesli has researched Montessori education under Dr. McKenna and has worked in both the public and private sectors with internships with McKinney Engineering Department in Texas and Clark Construction in Washington, DC.

Lesli is currently planning on working in construction management after graduation with plans to focus on historic restoration in the future.
