Mary is a sophomore studying Accounting and Economics. She was born and raised in Myanmar but now her family lives in St. Louis, MO. Mary enjoys walking around the lake, reading before going to sleep, listening to music, watching tv series (mostly foreign shows), and hearing about others’ life stories.
Mary’s interest in accounting derived from helping her mom do business in town (selling veggies, and handmade products). She now wants to specialize in audit (used to be taxes) in hopes of traveling to as many places as she can (hoping to audit various companies) because she loves experiencing different cultures, traditions and learning about others’ beliefs. In addition, Mary wants to be an Economist so that she can participate in making a better place to live for someone.
During her remaining time at Notre Dame, Mary would like to share her stories and develop skills while cultivating her heart and mind. One day she hopes to become a person who is able to offer a source of comfort for someone.
